Temporary Mechanical Assembly and Weaving Technician

What We’re Building:

We’ve developed a completely new way to manufacture apparel, and are scaling up our first microfactory. We're assembling our newest robotic apparel manufacturing machines, and looking for 2 contract assembly technicians to join our initial build at our new factory in Emeryville for 2-3 months, beginning asap.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly of industrial manufacturing equipment
• Performing textile manufacturing machinery setup
  • yarn routing, inspection, and replacement
• Working from verbal instruction, written guides, and engineering drawings
• Performing a variety of operational tasks to support factory setup

Requirements

• 0-4 years of assembly or technician experience (no experience necessary)
• excellent hand dexterity
• familiar with standard power tool operation
• ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• strong organizational skills
• ability to communicate in english (verbal, writing, and reading)
• legally authorized to work in the US as a 1099 contractor

Benefits

Job Type: 1099 contract (~8 weeks) starting asap

Shift: 8AM - 6 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay: $25.00/hour
