About the Role

As a Data Analyst at Scorpion, you’ll work with our Customer Success Operations team to develop and support dashboard metrics for our internal Scorpion team.
To be successful in this role, you need to be an analytical thinker who can tackle new data challenges and assist in evaluating data projects. You will think creatively about complex data problems and how to translate your discoveries to technical and non-technical audiences.What your success will look like
  • Deliver insights instead of just delivering reports
  • Understand the correlation between most important KPIs
  • Demonstrate problem-solving ability with emphasis on drawing inferences with data
  • Recommend, prepare, monitor, and evaluate key conversion metrics and KPI dashboards by analyzing patterns, usage, and trends
  • Assist in the presentation of models and findings internally to other Scorpions
  • Collaborate with internal teams at the onset of new projects to generate ideas and propose ways of solving existing business problems
Who you are and what you bring
  • 2+ years of relevant professional work experience
  • STEM Bachelor or the equivalent of experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-directed; ability to identify opportunities to add value and go the extra mile to help your team succeed
  • Statistics expertise (A/B Testing, experiment design, data profiling, etc.)
  • Beginner Python for data analysis and visualization
  • Exposure to digital marketing

Compensation
  • We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
  • The base salary range is $75,000 (entry-level) - $85,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future amp; continued salary growth. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
