Aeva 4D LiDAR sensors uniquely detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position, allowing autonomous devices like vehicles and robots to make more intelligent and safe decisions.
Role Summary:We are looking for a candidate to lead our System PM team. Target candidate has experience leading complex, technical development efforts including management of build/test activity and vendor relationships to deliver high-quality product on-time. Candidate will need to have a strong understanding of high-volume, manufacturing process flows with an ability to coordinate release and delivery of product to ensure company milestones stay on schedule.What you'll be doing:
  • Work with cross-functional project teams (including vendors/suppliers) to drive design, validation, process development, and production activities
  • Drive closure on technical issues and development roadblocks to ensure projects meet top level requirements and are delivered on time
  • Effectively communicate program risks/status regularly to key stakeholders
  • Coordinate in house and CM-led system integration and test activity
  • Manage system level build schedule and coordination of module schedules to align
  • Lead a team of System PMs and establish processes for build management and reporting
What you have:
  • Experience with build management for complex HW products including management of DRP, build matrices, and build schedules
  • Familiarity with DFM principles, configuration management, and root cause analysis (FACA)
  • Experience with RFQ process for mechanical and electrical parts including basic quote negotiation skills
  • Strong facilitation skills to lead efficient design requirements, status, and review meetings
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience shipping complex projects within an aggressive timeline
  • Ability to rapidly adapt and work independently in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA)
  • Experience with automotive supply chain (preferred, but not required)
