Springboard Collaborative invites talented and passionate candidates to apply for the position of Associate Project Manager. The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for driving the on-time delivery and efficient execution of program operations to high levels of stakeholder satisfaction. A successful candidate will be a masterful verbal and written communicator who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; have solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple, competing projects simultaneously; be a self-starter with the impetus to get things done both independently and in collaboration with team members.

Springboard Collaborative closes the literacy gap by closing the gap between home and school. We coach educators and family members to help kids learn to read by 4th grade. Springboard envisions a world in which all children have the requisite literacy skills to access life opportunities. The Associate Project Manager supports this goal by directly and indirectly supporting program implementation for multiple partnerships.

The Associate Project Manager will report to the Assistant Vice President, Partner Success Support, and work as part of the Partner Success Team. This is a great opportunity to support an entrepreneurial team to maximize the impact of a rapidly growing organization.

Here are your priorities in the first year:
  • You will project manage ~75 school sessions such that 80% of milestones are completed on time.
  • You will maintain less than 25% of overdue tasks per program project.
  • You will contribute to the Springboard team culture of collaboration, trust, and learning such that you receive a rating of 3.5 or higher on program support satisfaction surveys.

Here are your responsibilities within and beyond the first year:
  • Manage program projects from initiation to closing. You'll create session-based Salesforce records and Asana projects that will be used to assign tasks, monitor progress, and drive for on-task completion with internal and external stakeholders. You will also negotiate risk mitigation plans and project timelines to make sure Springboard programs are successful.
  • Coordinate program project tasks with functional teams. You'll work with amazing colleagues to coordinate invoicing, shipping, printing, registration/hiring, systems setup, enrollment, and impact report completion for Springboard's school partners.
  • Support implementation teams with program operations (4-person/3-person teams, seasonal staff). You will work to understand external stakeholder motivations and manage stakeholder expectations of operations and programming and will attend external meetings to support program operations (as needed). You will also facilitate conversations with stakeholders regarding program operations and coach seasonal staff on operational responsibilities.
  • Support Project Manager team members, and Springboard team culture. You will work in a highly collaborative, feedback-driven, environment where you'll share your successes, lessons learned, and ideas for process improvement. You'll frequently monitor and communicate process data to team members in daily team check-ins and weekly team meetings.
  • You provide operational excellence: expected to maintain daily operational excellence. You will manage program projects and ensure operations are efficient and on track for proper delivery of services, at each phase, to our stakeholders/partners from contracting to wrap-up.
