Seeking a dedicated and experienced Adaptive Learning Teacher for an educational institution in Saint Louis, MO. The Adaptive Learning Teacher will play a crucial role in creating personalized and inclusive learning experiences for students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess students' individual skills, learning requirements, and behavioral patterns.
• Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction plans.
• Adapt learning materials and develop engaging activities to cater to the unique needs of each student.
• Monitor and reflect on students' academic progress.
• Manage classroom crises, resolve conflicts, and establish a positive behavior plan.
• Regularly communicate with parents about their children's performance and progress.
• Collaborate with support staff, such as school social workers and speech therapists, to create comprehensive intervention plans.
• Use data to tailor instruction and meet individual student academic and social needs, aiming for all students to perform on-grade level or above in all subject areas.

Requirements

• Certified special education teacher with a commitment to providing adaptive and inclusive education.
• Implementation of whole group, small group, and one-on-one instruction strategies.
• Demonstrated belief in the growth mindset and its application in the classroom.
• Proficient use of a variety of classroom management strategies to ensure a smooth learning environment.
