We seek a hardworking, energetic, detail-oriented Events Manager to join our team and help us grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge on all events, including but not limited Expo West, SCA, internal events, marketing pushes and paid events
  • Lead event management, including vetting, logistics, staffing, experience design, branding, and materials, as well as post-event activations and marketing communications
  • Manage and create events budget in partnership with Accounting amp; Finance team
  • Manage the staffing of all events, coordinating with other departments as needed
  • Align events, activations, and industry presence to key marketing and brand goals
  • Handle both marketing/brand events and revenue-generating event programs such as venue rentals, for-hire Verve coffee, and related events
  • With HR support, lead company-wide employee events, including regional all-staff Annual Summits, annual employee parties, and internal surprise + delight moments
  • Maintain event standard operating procedures and related documentation
  • Oversee donation requests and charity event participation
  • Act as a product and brand ambassador, delivering exceptional coffee service at events and representing the Verve brand
  • Manage the cross-functional events calendar and regularly communicate key information internally
  • Conduct analysis of events ROI and regularly share out events impact and analysis
  • Manage all events supplies, products, vehicles, and physical materials as a part of leading the events team
  • Experience thinking ‘beyond the booth,’ such as placing speaking engagements, developing ancillary events to a keystone event, and/or running multi-location events such as retail pop-ups
  • Develop events marketing and communications plans in partnership with other marketing team members
  • Track and manage the events marketing budget and allocations
  • Handle inbound marketing inquiries and screen opportunities for brand partnerships
  • In collaboration with the Retail Team, launch and oversee Verve’s catering program
  • Vet and manage cafe filming requests
  • Support for special projects, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of experience in sales, events, management, or marketing roles
  • Clean driving record
  • Events management and/or events production experience is required
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team and/or directly managing employees
  • Excellent planning, negotiating, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Self-directed team player with proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create clear event briefs, presentations, timelines, and reports
  • An eye for design and the ability to stay ahead of consumer trends
  • Demonstrated impact in a prior business or professional role
  • A passion for coffee and people
  • Coffee knowledge and barista skills are a plus
  • Experience in consumer-facing marketing and/or B2B marketing experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 50-70%
  • Ability to work weekends and Holiday

Pay amp; Benefits:

  • $75,000-$90,000 Annual Salary
  • Full-time employees are eligible for Paid Time Off and insurance coverage per plan terms as well as participation in Verve Coffee’s 401k plan, per plan terms; all employees qualify for paid sick days
