Job Description

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and develop engaging infographics, 1-pagers, multi-page documents and workbooks, clinical trial summaries, and social media content
  • Work with plain language and science writers to design graphics, assets, and data visualizations to communicate health and science information, concepts, and processes to the public
  • Design and develop assets and content for HLM digital platforms, including websites, presentations, marketing materials, newsletters, and social media, which align with HLM’s brand, style, and voice

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or demonstrated experience in a field related to graphic design, health communication, or public health.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills amp; Abilities

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, Canva, and PowerPoint
  • Strong creativity, outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively to develop high-quality, health-literate materials
  • Ability to focus on large multimedia projects from start to finish
  • Ability to accept and implement critical feedback, and apply feedback received to future work
  • Ability to follow set processes and learn from the expertise of the HLM team
  • Flexibility, problem-solving, and the ability to meet deadlines with quality work in a demanding environment
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in asking clarifying questions
  • Ability to learn new software tools on the job
