Firstat Nursing Services is seeking skilled and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide compassionate care to our clients in Brevard, Florida. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting patients with their personal care needs, providing emotional support, and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Providing medication reminders and assisting with medication administration.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing team.
- Assisting patients with mobility, including transferring and repositioning.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing team.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a Home Health Aide training program.
- Active Home Health Aide certification in the state of Florida. (75 hour Certificate)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and patient care techniques.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and nursing team.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and move patients with assistance as needed.
