The role
Apothékary is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner to lead our supply and demand planning initiatives! This role will report directly to the Head of Operations and New Product Development and will play an integral role in lead developing the supply chain planning strategy and its successful implementation for a high growth business.
We are looking for a data-driven individual with strong analytical and planning experience in supply chain, inventory management, vendor and co-manufacturing management. Responsibilities
- Implement strategies to support a rapidly expanding business by building an agile and efficient supply network that will improve the customer experience, lower operating cost and improve capital utilization.
- Create and execute against short, medium, and long-term supply chain plans in collaboration with Growth, Brand Marketing, Creative, Operations, Sourcing amp; Procurement and Ramp;D.
- Execute demand planning and raw material forecasting while working with the Sourcing amp; Procurement Manager to ensure high level of delivery performance and minimizing freight costs
- Partner with the Head of Ops amp; NPD to lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, reviewing and challenging assumptions in plans, identifying risks and opportunities while driving consensus on forward plans.
- Develop and execute strategies for meeting supply chain targets on KPIs including but not limited to inventory turns, forecasts accuracy, product availability, stock outs, slow moving inventory amp; gross margins.
- Identify business risks and opportunities while recommending action plans to improve inventory availability and inventory health.
- Oversee the daily operations of Shopify, inventory management, order processing, and fulfillment.
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to help troubleshoot customer inquiries related to supply chain.
- In partnership with the Sourcing amp; Procurement Manager, actively build meaningful relationships with all partners in our supply chain through strategic and collaborative communication.
- Support evaluation and implementation of new Shopify and other software applications such as ERP systems that support and further our growing business needs.
- Master data oversight for all SCM related master data. Ensure accuracy, timeliness and integrity of all master data.
Requirements
Ideal candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- 8+ years experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Materials Management in retail or e-commerce environments
- Knowledge and/or experience with analytical supply chain planning
