The Role

The US Sales Managers primary objective is to drive sustainable new business acquisition in line with department targets, whilst coaching their team to do the same.

Managing the sales cycle of inbound leads, as well as identifying and prospecting your own target accounts to complete the sales cycle, manage pipeline and accurately forecast closures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and expertise regarding processes, systems and approaches, helping to guide the team with clear prioritisation
  • Lead, manage, recruit, inspire and engage a high-performing team, fostering a dynamic of collaboration, growth, and professional development
  • Build a culture to be proud of, make sure people know about it to attract new talent and influence ways of doing things for the better
  • Work collaboratively with other areas of the business, including Product, Tech, Data, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to ensure alignment with external communication, in terms of target markets, go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and key benefits
  • Owning your sales pipeline of SME and Enterprise businesses
  • Deliver on revenue targets amp; objectives in line with individual and team and company targets
  • Managing sales leads through the full sales cycle from initial contact, qualifying, through to close
  • Prepare proposals, based on the customer needs advising on solutions based on requirements
  • Partnering closely with Customer Success, Solutions Consultants, Marketing and Product Management teams to maintain a high-level of understanding regarding our customer landscape, the needs of our target market and the distinct value delivered by our product offerings
  • Ensure product knowledge is up to date in order to provide subject matter expertise
  • Be a visible member of the Sales Management Team

Requirements

  • Strong B2B or B2B2C experience
  • Proven ability to manage teams, creating loyalty, trust and ROI for the business
  • Experience in recruiting and developing talent
  • You’ll be a charismatic champion, meeting customers in-person and remotely
  • Someone to represent Feefo at industry events, seminars and exhibition using these to network and source leads
  • A strategic thinker to see bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Knowledge of or an interest in social media, digital marketing or e-commerce is very desirable but not essential
