Firstat of Orlando is a leading home care agency servicing Orange county in Florida for the past 20 years. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Kissimmee, Florida. The successful candidate will have experience working in home care and will provide exceptional patient care services in the comfort of our client's own homes. At Firstat Orlando we believe in providing tailored care plans to meet the unique needs of each individual client, and we seek team members who are committed to delivering quality care and support services.
Responsibilities
- Develop individual care plans based on client's needs and goals.
- Administer medication and injections as prescribed by clients' physicians.
- Monitor client's vital signs and condition and report any changes to the physician and family members.
- Provide basic wound care as needed.
- Provide education and support to clients and their caregivers.
- Document all patient care activities and communication with the physician and family members.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for clients.
Requirements
- Active Florida State Registered Nurse License.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in home care or a related field.
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid coverage guidelines.
- Must have strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes on a regular basis.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
