Job Description

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our passionate sales team.

Position Overview:

As an SDR at Rapsodo, you will play a vital role in driving the expansion of our sports technology solutions. You will be the first point of contact with potential customers, representing the Rapsodo brand and delivering an exceptional buyer experience. Your primary objective will be to identify and qualify leads, initiate the sales process, and build a robust pipeline of prospects for our sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Utilize various prospecting methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and market research, to identify and engage potential customers within the sports industry.
  • Qualification: Engage with leads to understand their specific needs, challenges, and objectives, qualifying them as potential sales opportunities based on established criteria.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Rapsodo's products and technology to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential customers.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships with prospects through excellent communication, active listening, and providing quick and relevant information, positioning Rapsodo as the preferred choice.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads, ensuring seamless handoff and accurate documentation of customer details.
  • CRM Management: Accurately record all prospecting activities, interactions, and pertinent information in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on strategies, share market insights, and continuously improve the lead qualification process.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with sports industry trends, competitor analysis, and market developments, providing valuable insights to support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Continuous Learning: Proactively seek opportunities for professional development, participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles, preferably in the sports industry but will consider other industry experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with potential customers.
  • Results-driven mindset, with a strong determination to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adaptable to changing market conditions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Passion for sports and a genuine interest in sports technology advancements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
