Job Description
Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Manager to oversee the ongoing operations of our portfolio of solar installations in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and the surrounding states. This position will report to the VP of Engineering and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our existing assets, as well as continually improving our maintenance and monitoring processes to maximize system performance and uptime. The Operations and Maintenance Manager will work closely with our engineering and construction teams as well as our customers to resolve any issues and optimize system performance. - Oversee a portfolio of solar installations in various industries
- Ensure that all solar installations are operating at optimal performance level
- Manage all aspects of operations and maintenance as well as troubleshooting for solar installations
- Manage service providers and contractors during installation and maintenance work
- Develop and manage various maintenance programs, such as preventative maintenance programs
- Handle emergency calls and assist clients with resolving solar issues
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance schedules and completed work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in operations and maintenance for solar or similar environmentally-conscious industries
- Previous experience of scheduling and overseeing maintenance and installations
- Familiarity with a variety of photovoltaic technology and systems
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work well as a member of a team and independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Electrical License or experience is a plus.
