Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and hungry Business Development Representative to join our Corporate Development team. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset and will be responsible for driving new revenue opportunities. This BDR will bring their exceptional communications skills to positively impact the day-to-day revenue growth of our cooperative.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing
    • Cold outreach to business owners via phone call, email, and LinkedIn to qualify and solicit interest in selling their business.
    • Source new customer targets, clean/enrich existing leads, and identify decision makers at targeted companies.
    • Conduct initial qualification of leads in order to communicate Obran’s capabilities and uncover prospect pain points and needs.
    • Set appointments with acquisition targets for the Account Executive and Group Leads.
    • Update and maintain accurate records in a CRM.
  • Miscellaneous
    • Track projects and regularly report back to the Corporate Development team.
    • Attend internal calls and meetings with other team members and divisions.
    • Build relationships with prospective customers, business owner associations, and stay up-to-date on industry developments.

Requirements


  • 1-3 years of experience working in an outreach focused role, including inside sales, business development, marketing, GTM, or any related field..
  • Strong prospecting and sales skills, including cold calling and emailing.
  • Self-motivated, able to work both independently and in teams in order to solve problems, with excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Experience collaborating with a team and delivering results in a complex, strategic setting.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Passion for economic equity.
  • Knowledge of Mamp;A market changes and forces that can influence the company is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work at the specific location required and flexibility to respond to sales needs.

Benefits

Contract Pay Range:

$3,000 - $3,500 base per month for a three-month contract with the ability to extend. Commission at $50/qualified meeting. This is a contract position and is not eligible for company benefits.

Contract Pay Range Disclaimer

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, net disposable income, and performance. The range listed is one component of Obran’s total compensation package for employees/members. Other rewards may include commission, quarter
