Kleen Test Products is in search of a Controller at our Sunset facility in Port Washington, WI. Kleen Test Products is in search of a Controller at our Sunset facility in Port Washington, WI. The Controller is responsible for supervising our Accounting Department and providing assistance to the Senior Director of Finance for various projects. In this role you would be responsible for preparing financial statements for Kleen Test Products management and our parent company, Meridian Industries, Inc.

This Position qualifies for our Telecommuting program, for this position, once fully trained, would allow for remote work up to two days per week, during non-closing weeks.

Essential Functions:

• Provide financial information to all KTP management and corporate headquarters.
• Monitor inventory balances and cost issues.
• Monitor cash flow with regards to A/P and A/R.
• Communicate cost information and pricing with customers.
• Collect and prepare budget information and reports.
• Provide back up for manufacturing Cost Accounting, A/P, A/R, Credit and Payroll.
• Lead cost savings initiatives and implementation.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment to protect all company assets.
• Assist IT with computer and software maintenance and system solutions.
• Be the site leader/ primary contact for outside audits.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field, CPA is preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
• Requires strong organizational and time-management skills with good attention to detail and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, areas, circumference, and volume.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Good PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) as well as experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Outlook, accounting software, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, ROI, bar coding, network/server knowledge, and the internet.
