Ready to elevate your accounting career? Baverstocks Accountants is actively seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join their vibrant team. In this full-time role (working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM), you will play a pivotal part in providing exceptional financial services to their clients.
As a Senior Accountant, you'll leverage your expertise in accountancy and taxation to collaborate closely with their directors, enhancing the value they bring to client interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Efficiently managing compliance work preparation, meeting deadlines even when they conflict.
Coordinating and overseeing multiple tasks to ensure a seamless workflow.
Contribute to capturing financial information that empowers clients to make life-changing decisions.
Preparing statutory and management accounts with precision and diligence.
Managing each accounting job from start to finish, ensuring thorough completion.
Handling ad-hoc client work and projects as they arise, showcasing your versatility.
You’ll be expected to possess the necessary technical knowledge right away, but during onboarding, you'll receive training in software, professional development, client relations, and value addition. In your first few weeks, you'll get acquainted with the company’s systems, meet the team virtually, and start working on client projects right away.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you need to have:
While not mandatory, having ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) certification would be a big plus!
