Job Description
#Please note that this position follows a hybrid model: 3 days in the office, 2 working from home.
The Paralegal will assist the legal team by providing clerical and research support including document drafting and review, negotiation of contracts, and fact-checking.
What you'll be doing?
- Meet with lawyers and legal assistant to discuss management of assignments and projects
- Manage deal support requests for the handling of customer relations, including by drafting customer-facing letters and amendments
- Support legal initiatives related to implementation of process and policy documents for sales, product, and other key organizations
- Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys
- Assist with preparation of presentations of legal initiatives and policies to key stakeholders
- Where applicable, prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required; Bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
- Paralegal certificate, required.
- 3-5 years’ related experience, preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, customers, partners, and vendors
- Initiative to drive process improvement
- High level of curiosity and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work autonomously and balance business considerations while maintaining strong relationships
- Aptitude to think quickly to solve complex legal problems
