Job Description: Remote Bookkeeper/Accountant at Your Way Home
Company Overview: Your Way Home is a small real estate broker and mortgage company operating in the United States with most of its team located in the Philippines.
Position: Bookkeeper/Accountant (Remote) Type: Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Handle and oversee all accounting and financial operations.
- Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and ledgers.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable using Quickbooks.
- Track real estate closings and receipt of commission payments.
- Asist owner in management of vacation rental properties including bookings, reconciling credit card payments and preparing tax filings.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and summaries.
- Communicate financial results and insights to the management team.
- Work closely with other departments to integrate and streamline operations.
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
- Continuously update and improve financial processes and procedures.
- Engage in continuous learning and development related to real estate and mortgage industry updates.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Quickbooks (Desktop or Online) is mandatory.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience in the real estate industry is a plus.
- Outstanding written English skills.
- Must have a reliable computer setup: dual monitors, video camera for conferencing.
- High-speed internet connection required.
Working Conditions amp; Environment:
- Work remotely from the comfort of your home.
- Must be adaptable to working during nighttime PH hours (US daytime) such as 10PM PH - 7 AM PH. Alternatively, shifts covering the US afternoon and evening such as 4 AM PH to 12 PM PH are acceptable.
