Overview:
- We are looking to fulfill our need for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at our Teterboro, NJ facility. This person will also be responsible for assisting at our Carlstadt, NJ location as needed.
- Full-time position: Hours 7 am 3:30 pm (Monday Friday). OT as needed.
- Applicants from NJ with their own reliable transportation preferred.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Responsible for the general maintenance and repair for all machinery, production equipment (such as CNC machines, LiSEC (automated, insulated, glass line), etc.) and the building.
- Experienced in electric, hydraulic, pneumatics, plumbing, etc.
- Understanding of standard and low voltage controls.
- Previous experience with milling and/or lathe machines a plus.
- Welding and soldering experience a plus.
- Knowledgeable and comfortable using various hand tools.
- Must be hands-on, a hard worker and a self-starter with great attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized working environment.
- Able to work in extreme temperatures.
- Comfortable working in a diverse environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or technical school degree preferred
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a mechanical background
- Fluent in English with strong oral communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- The ability to lift 75+ lbs.
