The CNC Router Operator is responsible for the successful and efficient operation of all CNC routers, while maintaining order and delivery of cut parts to the fabrication team. InProduction provides a creative, collaborative and professional atmosphere working on a wide variety of projects working with a very diverse group of craftspeople/artisans, clients and vendors. Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities

  • Understand and interpret router files
  • Oversee cutting strategies to maintain precise cutting and bit life
  • Strategize the best use of new and remnant materials
  • Load and unload sheet goods onto router bed
  • Clean, trim, deburr, and collate finished pieces
  • Maintain machines according to the maintenance schedule
  • Communicate problems and progress to technical management
  • Assist other departments when time allows
  • Maintain a safe work environment


Requirements

  • Pass drug screening and background check requirements
  • Carpentry shop experience in scenic or production industries
  • Proficient with tools and construction materials
  • Team oriented, collaborative work ethic
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Repetitive use of feet and hands
  • Ability to lift 100 Ibs. repeatedly
  • Ability to push and pull upwards of 10 lbs. repeatedly
  • While performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
