- Oversee accounts payable, credit card management, EFT payments, and postings, with a deep understanding of accrual accounting principles.
- Prepare meticulous monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, consolidating year-end reports to empower informed decisions.
- Manage cash flow, monitor bank accounts, and ensure timely debt payments, taxes, and filings.
- Navigate tax and insurance accruals, prepare compliance paperwork, and maintain strong relationships with external partners.
- Maintain internal controls and system security, ensuring a robust financial framework.
- Foster communication with CPAs, attorneys, and banks, serving as a pivotal link in our financial ecosystem.
- Handle critical tasks, from 1099 preparation to CAM reconciliation and balance sheet adjustments.
- Evaluate upcoming projects, create proforma documents, and establish budgets that drive future growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and proficiency in accounting systems like AppFolio and Quickbooks.
- Previous experience in Property Management, Construction, or Project Management is highly advantageous.
