Job Description
Parallel Employment Group is seeking a talented CNC Operator who will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting CNC machines. The successful candidate will be part of our warehousing industry and will work in a team environment. The incumbent will also display a good work ethic, be a self-starter, and be highly motivated to improve product quality and output. - Setting up machines
- Ensuring machines are calibrated and timely maintenance is performed
- Operating machines while adhering to all safety guidelines
- Inspecting parts to ensure quality standards
- Troubleshooting any issues that arise during production
- Recording production output and other data as required
- Work collaboratively with team members, including engineers and machinists
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required
- 3-5 years of experience in CNC operation
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of CNC machine principles
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Familiarity with G-code and M-code
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and spend extended periods standing or walking around machinery
