Experienced Purchasing Agent

Charlotte Mechanical, a Charlotte based construction company, is seeking an experienced HVAC Purchasing Agent to facilitate the acquisition of materials within pricing and delivery guidelines.

Requirements

1. Receive, store, stock, maintain and distribute inventory.
2. Create purchase orders for the acquisition of materials.
3. Research, interview, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.
4. Order inventory items and non-inventory items as needed.
5. Schedule deliveries, in coordination with Superintendent and Foreman.
6. Approve invoices against receipts and PO’s.
7. Obtain quotes from vendors to meet budget.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a Purchasing Agent.

Experience in HVAC is a must.

Must be able to read take offs and blueprints

Required: MS Excel Intermediate

MS Word Intermediate

Data entry and basic reporting
