We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual for the role of Sample Management Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for a high school or college graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in biotechnology.
Requirements
1. Facilitate the archival of biological samples into our software-driven storage solution.
2. Conduct thorough audit and organization of samples, ensuring accurate counts and precise labeling. This includes recognizing sample characteristics (species, organ type, tissue, etc.) and matching this to the information stored in our sample management system.
4. Learn and utilize a software-driven storage system for samples used to store and manage our inventory.
5. Learn and use a Laboratory Information Management System to get records of samples in our facilities and update system information.
- Recent High School or College Graduate ideal
- Interest in biotechnology, histology, biology research, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, particularly data entry and use of archival software.
