TransWest is seeking a Senior Valet Operations Manager to join our team and lead a high-performing workforce towards success. As a key player on our Hospitality Team, you will leverage your strategic mindset and proven leadership skills to ensure the seamless execution of our Valet and Parking Operations while fostering a culture of high-touch customer service, growth and innovation.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Hospitality, the Senior Valet Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day success of Team Members and operational process. They will coordinate, facilitate and report on, operational performance, safety performance and company policy adherence. Additionally, they will lead and execute process improvement initiatives. The Senior Valet Operations Manager will oversee all Valet/Parking Operations and the team members within. In doing this they will partner with the Client Relations Team, Revenue, People amp; Culture and Finance Teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate, plan, and execute current and new valet service operations, working closely with the Valet Client Relations Team to ensure we are providing the highest level of service to our clients.
  • Develop and train Location Managers and Valet Leads using coaching, counseling, and field time to better empower and develop front line leaders.
  • Own the successful delivery of client service standards by coaching the team to desired expectations, regularly spending time in the field to support operations.
  • Monitor valet operation’s data for efficiency; identify issues of poor performance and work with Location Managers as needed for improvement.
  • Facilitate weekly scheduling for Valets and Parking Attendants in partnership with the Location Managers, developing a thorough understanding of schedule needs and staff forecasting.
  • Responsible for payroll reporting; ensure sign off on hours in timely manner; work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure proper wage and hour compliance.
  • Assists with the development of short and long-term strategic planning in conjunction with the Senior Manager, Hospitality.
  • Prepare standard reports weekly, monthly, or as requested and develop tracking systems, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and other operational data as necessary.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between Red Carpet Valet and our clients, in partnership with the Client Relations Team.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with your team, both individual and in group settings to reiterate service and safety expectations.
  • Assist in developing training content (including New Hire Orientation) for Valets, Parking Attendants and Location Managers. As needed, train Team Members on new and existing locations.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation of assigned locations and events.

Requirements

  • Current Washington State Driver’s License or able to obtain a Washington State Driver’s License within 30 days of start date or transfer.
  • Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
  • Associate Level Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ Years of progressive supervisory or management experience, Hospitality Industry a plus but not required
  • Ability to be flexible in schedule to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.
