We are looking for an account manager experienced in Medicare, life, and health insurance sales and distribution to help us develop, maintain, and grow strategic industry relationships with agencies and FMOs.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Accounts Manager, you will connect with key players in the industry, such as large agencies, FMOs, IMOs, and insurance carriers, to expand our reach and influence. These organizations often rely on our expertise to boost their agents' sales. Your primary responsibility will be to foster relationships with partners through strategic marketing and direct engagement, ultimately leading to increased collaboration with agents.

In this hands-on role, you will devise and execute marketing strategies, while engaging directly with industry professionals. Although we will equip you with the necessary resources and support to achieve your KPIs, we anticipate that you will be capable of performing required tasks independently before investing in additional tools or specialists.

Key objectives include:

  1. Broadening our partner network through sales efforts
  2. Collaborating closely with partners to explore mutual opportunities for growth and support
  3. Increasing the number of insurance agents utilizing our SaaS platform through partner connections

We will collaborate on developing ongoing projects and initiatives to fulfill these objectives, which may involve:

  • Designing, implementing, and evaluating sales campaigns to nurture partner relationships
  • Conducting outreach initiatives to connect with potential partners
  • Collaborating remotely and in-person with partner contacts to create engagement opportunities for their agents
  • Creating and maintaining a set of partner marketing materials
  • Lead our participation amp; follow-up in industry events
  • Maintaining a list of prospective partner outreach initiatives
  • Tracking and evaluating sales effectiveness to continuously refine our efforts
  • Experimenting with novel approaches to reach partners, such as launching Facebook groups, podcasts, and more

Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience working with insurance industry professionals
  • Proficient knowledge of the insurance market and its unique challenges
  • Track record of success in high-performing sales teams
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex concepts and solutions to groups in person and via webinars

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms and small business online marketing
  • Background in the insurance industry
