Brooks Internship Program:
Brooks Running hosts summer internships at our Seattle HQ offices to provide hands-on, meaningful work experience to further enhance your education and professional aptitude. Our interns gain exposure to real work, and projects while working side by side with Brooks employees and leadership. If chosen for this role, you will join a cohort of interns at Brooks and embark on a summer of learning, professional development, and exposure to the Brooks brand and culture.

This Opportunity:
Our Brand Marketing Team is seeking a Brand Marketing intern to work at our Seattle HQ offices. This position will work closely with the Global Brand Marketing team, which is responsible for driving strategy and go-to-market for all global storytelling, working closely with our product team to establish positioning and build storytelling and then working cross functionally with regional marketing teams to bring those stories to life for the runner. Through this opportunity, you will gain exposure to working within a global consumer-focused organization. In this role you will shadow and work under the mentorship of the Brand Marketing Manager, Apparel with the goal of developing an informed recommendations on how we can further advance our apparel storytelling at sell-in (which will ultimately translate to consumer-facing storytelling).Your Impact (Responsibilities):
  • Gain hands-on experience in Global Brand Marketing working full time, with an outcome of learning and understanding how a global/regional marketing model operates.
  • Develop foundational brand marketing skills needed for career in any marketing-related field.
  • Meet with members of the North America (NA) Marketing, EMEA Marketing, Footwear, Apparel and Sales team(s) to understand their roles, areas of responsibility, and current project focuses.
  • Flex your creative, analytical and storytelling abilities by working with the team on relevant go-to-market projects
  • Provide research and analytical support to inform leadership decision-making on go-to-market storytelling and sell-in tools.
  • Create and update relevant SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) for go-to-market planning.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and other group meetings.
Project:
  • As a part of your experience as an intern at Brooks, you will have the opportunity to complete a project under the support and supervision of your manager. Details of your project will be finalized once you arrive at Brooks based on your interests, and the needs of the business. You will present your work and findings to leadership at Brooks at the end of your internship, to hone in on your research, recommendation, and presentation skills.
Skills Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing or a related field
  • Willing to commit to the intern position for three months onsite in Seattle, WA
  • Willingness to learn and gain hands-on experience
  • Able to commit to up to 40 hours a week to be physically present at HQ
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.
  • Must be able to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
