The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is heavily involved in the recruiting and on-boarding of candidates. Additional responsibilities involve benefits administration, payroll, and other Human Resources duties as determined by the Vice President of Human Resources and Safety.

Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources and Safety

Hours: 8-5pm Monday through Friday

Wage: Hourly/Full Time

Job Location: Warrenville IL (In person)


Job Duties

  • Draft and extend offer letters when applicable
  • Facilitate E-Verify amp; I9 checks, criminal background checks, and drug screening for new employees
  • Prepares data reports on hiring statistics
  • Maintains administrative files, including onboarding and offboarding documentation
  • Supports the Human Resources Generalist in various day-to-day operations. Tasks include: assisting in the coordination of various office functions, employee relations, and processing of personnel changes
  • Assist in the response to routine employee requests and questions.
  • Using a variety of recruiting sites post, update, and monitor open job positions Communicate with applicants via phone and recruit the best candidates
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Human Resources Degree (or currently working towards degree)
  • Must be bilingual in both written and spoken forms of English and Spanish to be considered
  • At least one year experience in Human Resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detailed orientated with strong follow-up skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task as a team player
  • Handle confidential information with complete integrity
