Hire Resolve is working with a CPA firm in Sacramento, California that is looking for qualified Tax Candidates to join their team. As a Tax Candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all tax laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for providing tax advice and guidance to clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage tax compliance and reporting activities for the company
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies
- Provide tax advice and guidance to clients and senior management
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and review tax returns for the company and clients
- Assist with tax audits and inquiries
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or other relevant certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in tax planning and compliance
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and tax software programs.
