About the Role

In order to achieve its ambition of serving 80,000-100,000 Fellows over the next decade, Braven is hiring a Managing Director, Digital Product Management to lead our digital product initiatives and drive the next phase of innovation and growth for Braven. As the leader of the digital product team, you will bring a strong background in digital product development, a passion for user-centric design, and working in partnership with the Chief Product Officer to steer cross-functional teams toward the realization of Braven’s product vision.

This role is on the Systems team and reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategy and Vision (25%)
    • Working with the Chief Product Officer to align on the vision for digital products in line with Braven’s strategic objectives and participants’ program experience.
    • Align internal and external stakeholders around that vision.
    • Develop and prioritize digital product roadmap balancing the vision with engineering, UX, and business constraints.
  • Leadership and Collaboration (25%)
    • Lead and mentor the digital product management team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders, including the executive team, strategy, design, and engineering to ensure cohesive product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Product Development and Optimization (50%)
    • Understand and represent user needs in product design.
    • Make key product design decisions.
    • Prioritize product features and capabilities.
    • Incorporate user feedback and user-centric design principles into product development.
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators for our digital products.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in product management/design roles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree, MBA, or other advanced qualifications in Business, Computer Science, Design Thinking, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Director of Product, or similar senior product role.
  • Track record of bringing innovative solutions or products to the market.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in education-focused and/or non-profit organizations
  • Expertise with UX/UI design principles and tools
  • Knowledge of modern product management software and tools
  • Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other product development methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • You have a demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.

Work Demands

  • Travel 2-3 times per year

Additional Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
