Data Governance Platform Architect

The Hiring Manager is looking for Data Governance platform engineer/architect and they should have experience with Collibra SaaS and Collibra Edge

This is a 3-month contract to begin with - looking to extend 6 months to a year.

Position Summary and Principal Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for supporting Data Governance tools and platforms. In addition, this role will require working closely with business partners to understand needs and develop roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

• Platform Engineering Architecture amp; Design, Deployment and Post-Implementation Support.

• Platform Support Lifecycle Management, Level 3 Support, Adoption, Change Management, Incident and Problem management, Vendor management, Resiliency. Monitoring and managing Team service performance based on service level agreements (SLA) for Service requests, Incidents, Problems and Change tickets.

• Audits amp; Regulatory Compliance Identify amp; remediate gaps, Service readiness reviews.

• Implement Operational Readiness Implement new services following Client standards and processes.

• Deliver targeted business outcomes by participating in the technical decision-making process.

• Analyze changing business requirements to determine impact and optimal solution regarding defining the future state technical architecture.

• Establish principles and models that guide technology decisions for the enterprise (best practices)

• Ensure adherence to the governance, standards and best practices established by Client

• Ensure delivered solutions enable infrastructure agility, scalability, and resilience to support required product needs throughout product lifecycle.

• Product Technical SME supporting Application Development and increased awareness of the platforms.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Experience with Collibra SaaS and Collibra Edge
• Experience integrating Collibra with other platforms
• Experience and good knowledge of Data Management and Governance Concepts.
• Experience with Data Lineage Platforms.
• Ideal candidate will be a strong technologist. Good technical leader and an architectural team player.
• Experience working in an agile environment and distributed development teams is a distinct advantage.
• Experience of dealing with Key Stakeholders, ideally in a fast-paced business environment.
• Experience of 3rd line support role, methodical and quick when problem solving and willingness to perform Level 3 support role as well.
• Strong communication and team working skills.
• Experience developing and implementing automation.o

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Data Governance projects amp; 3rd party software implementation.
• Experience in Financial services industry preferred.
• Education, Training amp;/or Certification: Bachelors Degree
