Position Description

The Talent Acquisition Manager plays a key role in expanding our internal teams. This role will recruit for all talent at GXA even though most of the candidates will be IT roles.

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for establishing a standard operating process to recruit news hires (including marketing for roles by using tools such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, social media, etc.), recruit new hires for GXA, successfully onboarding new hires, developing and managing new employee training program and developing strategies and processes that will maximize and optimize new hires.

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates for technical and non-technical roles, creating a shortlist of qualified individuals, and engaging with potential candidates to enhance our employer brand.

Your focus will be on reducing our time-to-hire and ensuring we attract top talent.

By building a robust tech talent pipeline, you will contribute to the successful recruitment and retention of highly skilled professionals for our IT positions and other internal roles.

Responsibilities
  • Build out, develop and streamline the new hire process from sourcing of candidates, interview stage, background checking to onboarding and training new hires.
  • Write and post job descriptions.
  • Source potential candidates through Workable our application tracking systems and other channels.
  • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen resumes.
  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities.
  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g., structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
  • Build a pipeline of candidates ready to be hired.
  • Coordinate with managers internally to forecast department goals and hiring needs.
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates.
  • Participate in local and online tech conferences, job fair, industry events and meetups to network with professionals.
  • Negotiate compensation plans with candidates.
  • Compose and send job offer letters.
  • Perform background checks and HR onboarding of new hires.
  • Develop, optimize and manage new hire training program through an LMS system.
  • Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work in the marketplace.
  • Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products.
Results of the Position and Key Accountabilities
  • Talent pipeline: Build a strong ready to hire - talent pipeline to significantly reduce time to hire.
  • Talent quality: Develop thorough talent evaluation measures to increase quality of new hires leading to reduced turnover, increased productivity, better culture and hire success rates.
  • Candidate experience: Improve candidate experience through effective recruiting process.
  • New hire experience: Improve new hire experience through effective onboarding and training processes.
  • Automate recruiting: Streamline and optimize Applicant Tracking System and other recruiting systems and processes.
  • LMS system: Optimized LMS system to provide effective training and experience for new hires.

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in recruitment in the IT industry preferably in the MSP space.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Proven track record of sourcing and hiring top talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
