Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Marketing Specialist to join our team and support our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for marketing, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the planning, execution, and analysis of various marketing campaigns and initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the growth and success of our brand.
Key responsibilities:
Campaign support:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional media.
- Coordinate and manage the production of marketing materials, ensuring they are on-brand and aligned with campaign objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular updates on key metrics to the marketing team.
Social media management:
- Assist in managing and scheduling social media posts across platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement, and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Contribute to the development of social media content calendars and strategies.
Event support:
- Support team in coordinating, tracking and reporting brand collateral (i.e., company branded promotional items, sales materials, etc.,) orders from the company storefront for internal and external events.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, operations, and product, to ensure alignment of marketing activities with overall business goals.
- Maintain open communication and collaboration to facilitate the successful execution of marketing projects.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-5 years) in marketing, either through internships, coursework, or entry-level roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agency or client side experience with a marketing organization
