The Finance team here at Swell is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to take on the following responsibilities part-time, with the potential to grow within the team to other responsibilities as needed:
- Own the customer contract billing process from subscription set up onward
- Inform clients on their outstanding debts and deadlines and work with our 3rd party collection team as needed
- Answer customer and internal billing-related questions and address problems
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts receivable
- Ongoing billing price change projects
- Part-time position initially anticipated to require 15-20 hours per week, hourly rate DOE
Requirements
The ideal applicant will meet the following Requirements:
- Effective communication skills, including active listening, speaking and writing
- Professional business communication skills, including emails and phones, financial reporting, and other department documentation
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
- Collaboration and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Comfortable with computers, accounting software, spreadsheet software and other financial computer application
- Experience with subscription or recurring billing preferred but not required
- Ideal candidates will have working knowledge of Quickbooks Online, Stripe, and/or Maxio (fka SaasOptics)
