Duties summary: GL, Reconciliations, AR (70%), AP, Bookkeeping, Office Management (gt;5%)

As an Accountant, you will work closely to handle a range of responsibilities, including accounts receivable/payable, financial statement preparation, and month-end close tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail.

• Record and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, cash receipts and disbursements, and general ledger accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Assist with the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Handle various compliance and regulatory requirements
• Assist with other accounting projects as needed
• Serve as Payroll backup

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience with QuickBooks (Bill.com and Amex)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work independently
