The Key Account Merchandising and Sales Representative is responsible for successfully merchandising and selling The Beer Guy portfolio of beverages throughout the assigned key account territory. This position reports directly to the General Manager of The Beer Guy.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture customer relationships via daily account visits within The Beer Guy footprint. This may include travel to the following counties within Vermont: Chittenden, Lamoille, Addison, Rutland and Washington
- Merchandise and conduct inventory rotation to optimize consumer purchasing, ensure freshness, and verify proper MSRP pricing at targeted key accounts
- Execute route schedule in a timely and efficient manner
- Responsible for hanging posters, custom signs, POS, and any marketing materials that will assist in bringing awareness to our portfolio of brands
- Ensure TBG portfolio is always kept cold and sold at a fair price
- Identify, monitor, and report Out of Code and Out of Stock issues to appropriate team members
- Execute sales and merchandising strategies in existing distribution areas, including educating our retail partners on proper handling and ordering
- Provide recap reports to team members as needed
- Represent The Beer Guy portfolio at large scale events and tastings as needed.
- Focus on problem solving more than problem identifying with a proactive presence
Requirements
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs with loaded hand truck
- Ability to bend, squat, stoop, push, kneel and reach
- Ability to push and pull two-wheeled hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Knowledge of workplace safety and distribution
- Multi-stop routing experience preferred
- Vermont-based with ability for regular visits to our Waitsfield, VT headquarters
- NOTE: a company car will be provided for this position.
- Highly organized with proficiency in spreadsheets and Microsoft Office Suite
- Thrives working independently and have a positive personality
- Ability to maintain sobriety and professionalism working in settings where beer is flowing
- Previous sales and/or customer service experience preferred
