Phoenix Home Care is currently seeking a full-time Billing/Collections Specialist for our Private Duty Nursing division.

Job Duties:
- Represents the Financial Services Department in a professional and courteous manner, on the phone and in person.
- Submitting claims and following up on denials with the payers. Claim reconsiderations and appeals.
- Other duties as set forth by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Education / Licensure: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in general office setting.
- Potential Candidate must have prior revenue cycle management experience, preferably in billing/collections of Medicaid (including Managed Medicaid).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have a minimum basic knowledge of keyboarding, personal computers, and Microsoft Office (including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook).
- Phone etiquette with the ability to communicate well; both verbally and in writing.
- Reliable, positive presence, strong work-ethic, organized, and a multitasker.
