Parx Home Care is looking for an experienced and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide to provide quality post op care to our patients at the Regency Miami Airport Hotel. This specific case if for night shift.
As a member of the Parx team, the CNA/HHA will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities and providing basic medical care to ensure their well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Help patients with household chores such as cleaning and doing laundry
- Administer medication as instructed by the patient's nurse or physician
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to their healthcare team
- Prepare meals and ensure patients adhere to specific dietary requirements
- Transport patients to doctor's appointments, therapy sessions, and other medical appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with healthcare team regularly
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- CNA License or home health aide 75 hour certificate
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health care
- Knowledge of basic medical and nursing procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
