About the role

The Marketing Operations Manager is pivotal in amplifying Zappi’s presence and driving its growth. This role ensures that our marketing strategies translate into clear and actionable measurement, and that our marketing campaign execution [integrated campaigns including content, webinars, video, podcasts, SEO, digital marketing, sales outreach, etc] is data-driven and optimized.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Marketing Automation amp; Technology Management:
    • Manage and optimize Zappi’s marketing tech stack.
    • Assure seamless integration between marketing platforms and other business tools.
    • Assess emerging technologies to further enhance marketing efficacy and streamline operations.
  • Data Management amp; Analysis:
    • Construct, maintain, and present key marketing metrics, dashboards, and reports.
    • Oversee data hygiene, ensuring a well-maintained and segmented database.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing metrics with sales and client success, ensuring a comprehensive view of customer engagement.
  • Campaign Execution amp; Optimization:
    • Support the marketing team in the lifecycle of campaigns - from inception to measurement.
    • Extract insights from campaign data to refine strategies and optimize outcomes.
  • Process Development amp; Optimization:
    • Create and refine marketing workflows to enhance team agility and scalability.
    • Collaborate with teams across Zappi to align marketing processes with the overall customer experience.
  • Training amp; Best Practices:
    • Foster expertise by training teams on tools, platforms, and processes integral to marketing.
    • Continually adapt by monitoring industry best practices, ensuring Zappi remains an industry pacesetter.

Leadership

  • 3-5 years of marketing operations experience, with a preference for experience in market research or SaaS.
  • Proficiency in various marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and data interpretation skills.
  • Adeptness in database management and segmentation.
  • Collaborative spirit with a knack for cross-departmental projects.
  • Demonstrated project management acumen.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B Marketing Operations with a strong track-record for results
  • Strong collaborator at the leadership level while also being comfortable doing the day to day work required to execute
  • Analytic -- A strong understanding of the interdependencies between sales processes, automation tools, data sources and the data quality that results. Mindset not only for spotting data problems, but importantly understanding the implications of those on the prospect journeys, and bringing know-how to drive clean-up, fixes and prevention
  • Technical -- understanding of the latest marketing automation technology and CRM tools. Passion for leveraging data and technology to create outstanding, segmented prospect journeys
  • Process oriented - a end-to-end process oriented view of the sales funnel
  • Strong collaborator at the leadership level while also being comfortable doing the day to day work required to execute
  • Tech-savvy and up-to-date on all marketing tools, platforms and resources
