Job Description
IT Product Manager
Responsible for managing IT projects and tasks, the company’s Elo rating systems, and the extraction, acquisition, and processing of sports data. The IT Product Manager will manage IT project scope, execution, milestones, and deliverables; conduct customer needs assessments; prepare project status reports; schedule and facilitate team meetings related to projects; serve as liaison between business and software development teams; develop and update short- and long-term product roadmaps; work with internal and external business teams to determine product requirements; create detailed product
specifications for software development teams; monitor performance of project team members and provide feedback; support the development, implementation, and management of company Elo rating systems; support the development of testing and troubleshooting procedures for Elo rating systems; manage extraction, acquisition, and processing of sports data; develop queries to extract data from databases using SQL programming language; identify and assess data-related technological solutions for feasibility and suitability to facilitate business growth; and assess the data needs of customers and partner organizations and build data integrations.
Requirements
Position requires (1) Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, business administration with a major in information technology or information systems, or closely-related information technology/systems field. (2) 24 months of work experience in an IT project management position in the field of sports and recreation, to include each of the following: (a) Managing IT projects and tasks. (b) Conducting customer needs assessments to help business departments tailor their products and services. (c) Managing the development and implementation of Elo ratings systems. (d) Managing the extraction, acquisition, and processing of sports data. (e) SQL and Jira project management software.

Company headquarters in Palo Alto, CA. Position is remote and employee may live anywhere in the
United States, reporting to headquarters in Palo Alto. Salary $88,500-$105,000 per year.
