Job Description
Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in Nevada to provide telehealth services for clients who are pregnant or need assistance with eating disorders. The ideal candidate with have experience, or comfortability in medication management for each of these populations.

Responsibilities:
- Provide remote, telehealth psychiatric services to patients residing in remote Skilled Nursing Facilities, as well as through Outpatient services.
- Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
- Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
- Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
- Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
Job Types: Full Time or Part-time available, W2 Billable Hourly or 1099 Independent Contractor available. This position will required one day per week in our Henderson office.
Locations Serviced: Henderson, NV
Requirements
- Licensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.
- Possession of a DEA in Colorado.
- Possession of an X-Wavier for Suboxone treatment (Optional).
- Must be compliant with CDC guidelines for vaccinations and boosters.
- 1 year experience providing telehealth treatment.
- 1 year experience within Skilled Nursing Facilities/Acute Rehab Facilities.
Skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
- Competency with video/audio software (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Excellent written communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus!

Pay:
- $60.00 to $77.00 per Billable Hour, W2 and Independent Contractor options available.
- Compensation determined based on pay model preferred and experience.
