About the Role

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Womack, you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of our recruiting efforts, collaborating with internal stakeholders to source, interview, and make hiring recommendations for various positions, including clerical, technical, administrative, sales, and management roles. You will develop and execute local and regional recruitment strategies, using both traditional and innovative sourcing methods, to efficiently fill open positions. Additionally, you will build strong relationships with educational institutions for campus recruitment initiatives.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Establish and nurture relationships with candidate sourcing channels, such as staffing agencies, web resources, state unemployment agencies, and college placement offices.
  • Proactively network through industry contacts, associations, and trade groups to create a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to develop recruitment and interview plans.
  • Lead college recruitment initiatives, attend career fairs, and maintain visibility in educational institutions.
  • Create, update, and maintain recruitment collateral, job descriptions, and job postings.
  • Manage the requisition process and applicant tracking system.
  • Conduct telephone interviews and schedule in-person interviews.
  • Negotiate and prepare employment offers and provide feedback to candidates.
  • Coordinate new hire on-boarding activities and employee referral program.
  • Manage temporary labor needs in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present periodic recruiting performance reports.
  • Conduct passive recruiting campaigns for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Contribute to building our "employer of choice" reputation.


Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • PHR certification is desirable.

Experience:

  • 10-15 years of professional recruitment experience.
  • Preferred experience in industrial/sales environments with exposure to commission plans and non-compete agreements.

Skills amp; Abilities:

  • Proficient in behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and coaching abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality in handling HR matters.
  • Willingness to travel for recruitment events and maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Resourceful and proactive.
