Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in traffic engineering to join our clients team.

As a Civil Engineer working on traffic engineering projects, you will be responsible for designing and implementing traffic systems that ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement traffic control systems, including traffic signals, signage and pavement markings, and lighting systems that ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
- Prepare and review traffic impact and safety studies, including traffic flow analysis and transportation demand forecasts
- Collaborate with transport planners, architects, and urban designers to produce comprehensive transportation systems that meet clients' needs
- Analyze traffic data, conduct simulations, and recommend improvements to existing traffic flow systems and infrastructure.
- Prepare reports, maps, and drawings that outline proposed traffic improvements and present findings and recommendations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other departments, organizations, and stakeholders to supplement intersection, roadway and transportation planning efforts.
- Develop and foster partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure a successful outcome of projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience working in traffic engineering
- Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Synchro, and HCS
- Working knowledge of traffic control measures, signal construction, signage, and pavement markings
- Ability to conduct statistical analysis, traffic flow modeling, and transportation demand forecasting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, team members, and key stakeholders to produce successful outcomes.
