Job Description

Samsung SDS America is seeking for a ServiceNow Product Architect amp; Engineering Lead to function as both a technical architect and a team engineering/development leader for our enterprise SaaS product. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conceptualizing, planning, and executing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, while also providing technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers.

The Zero Touch Mobility (ZTM) is a solution provided by Samsung SDSA in collaboration with Service Now. Zero Touch Mobility provides automation for the entire lifecycle of corporate mobile devices and makes mobility management effortless.

Location: Ideally Ridgefield Park, NJ (hybrid), but open to a remote role in the US. The Team is based in Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow-based platform ZTM to meet client needs and industry standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams (internal resources and contractors) to ensure successful execution of ServiceNow projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, third parties and cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into technical designs.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best practices and company standards.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow platform and overall technology advancements and emerging trends to drive innovation.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of existing ServiceNow implementations, offering improvement recommendations.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with product managers and stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Suggest process improvements, tools, and technologies to boost productivity and product quality. Provide visionary leadership in the development and implementation of a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the product vision

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • +10 years of experience in technology role and at least 5 year in ServiceNow development and architecture.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications and integrations.
  • Proficient in ServiceNow development, especially in areas like Service Catalog, ITSM, ITAM, and Creative Workflows. Proficiency in RPA is a plus.
  • Certification in ServiceNow products (especially ITSM and ITAM) required.
  • Good understanding of Mobility technologies (Enterprise Mobility Management platforms, Telecom Expense Management platform, Telco/Carriers systems) a strong plus.
  • Good understanding of AI technologies (deep learning, machine learning as well as the process to build and run AI models) including GenAI, a strong plus.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading and mentoring technical teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
