If you are looking to enter the exciting and rewarding field of Talent Acquisition, the Human Resources Department is looking to welcome an entry-level Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team! This role is for a highly organized individual with a passion to make direct impact by connecting people to current jobs and building relationships to foster future employment opportunities. In this role you will handle multiple full lifecycle recruitments, attend local career events and community networking opportunities, and help administer various talent programs. This promotional opportunity is reserved for current SDCRAA employees only, all other applications will not be considered. Enjoy a flexible telecommuting schedule (3 days remote, 2 days onsite) as you collaborate with Hiring Managers across the organization to lead recruiting strategies to target and acquire strong talent and:

  • Implement talent acquisition strategies; partner with hiring managers on sourcing and recruitment strategies, candidate management, interview, and selection approach; apply innovative processes for potential candidates through social media platforms, professional, community, and cultural groups, networking events, and career exhibitions.
  • Oversee and complete daily talent pipeline activities; act as the primary point of contact for internal and external candidates; develop relationships with stakeholders to achieve hiring goals; manage communications with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Own the entirety of the recruitment life cycle and apply best sourcing strategies and techniques; responsible for the growth and flow of a diversely qualified candidate pool; partner with others on diversity initiatives involving recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Track and facilitate candidates through the applicant tracking systems; engage and coach hiring managers on best practices, interviewing, and assessment processes.
  • Promote organizational brand and engage with potential candidates; apply innovative talent management strategies for difficult-to-fill opportunities; complete pre-interview assessments and evaluate candidates fit for vacancies.
  • Engage in proactive and passive recruitment tactics to attract a diverse and qualified pool of candidates; connect and collaborate with potential candidates; update and guide others on recruitment status and practices; complete follow-up surveys with managers and new hires on the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
  • Participate in programs, processes, and technology review activities to promote an engaging work environment; prepare hiring forecasts and data sets.

  7. Technology - Proficient use of applicant tracking systems and technology to continually develop candidate pipelines, connect with internal stakeholders and potential candidates, and generate reports and metrics to drive decision-making.
