Job Description:
QHRC is recruiting a full-time (35-40 hours per week) Project Manager to assist the team with healthcare-related projects at our Madison, WI Downtown office. We are looking for highly-motivated, empathetic, detailed-oriented, and analytical individuals who are seeking to join a dynamic research firm at the ground level.

Requirements
Research Assistant - responsibilities include:
- Assist QHRC researchers with study coordination activities, such as outreach to research participants, screening, and recruitment
- Transcribe English-language audio (interviews, focus groups) into Word documents
- Code and analyze interview and focus group data using qualitative analysis software, including NVivo and MAXQDA
- Serve as a backup interviewer with patients and clinicians on projects involving health care delivery
- Conduct outreach to recruit participants to studies, as needed
- Be discreet and able to work in a HIPAA-compliant environment
Project Manager - responsibilities include:
- Attend regular meetings with the PI and take notes
- Organize and submit meeting summaries and agendas
- Assist the Principal in overseeing the pace of research
The ideal candidate will have some or all the following qualifications:
- Knowledge or previous exposure to qualitative social science research
- Knowledge or previous exposure to healthcare environments
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Experience or interest in: participant recruitment, qualitative software analysis programs, including NVivo
- Experience or interest in: conducting interviews or focus groups with patients and clincians
- Ability to work with confidential information
- Ability to work in a team environment and learn our analysis and formatting requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in a Health Science or Social Science discipline
- Fluency in Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Benefits
Salary: $22-24 per hour
QHRC offers a flexible work environment, paid sick leave, and a downtown parking space. Our Downtown office is located near the Capitol Square bus lines and multiple restaurants/coffee shops. All employees are eligible to attend QHRC Seminar and receive state-of-the science training in qualitative research methods.
