Corporate Controller

Martin Management Group is seeking a Director of Finance to join our team. The Corporate Controller is responsible for updating the cash management system each day, 401 (k) plan administration and for all general accounting at the corporate office.

Responsibilities:

• Download and update banking activity for cash management system on a daily basis.
• Provide sales and analysis on Co-Mar Aviation.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for entities maintained at corporate office. This includes preparation of journal entries, account analysis and month end closings.
• Prepare bank reconciliations for corporate entities.
• Maintain and prepare payroll records for corporate entities.
• Maintain daily computer system backup.
• Obtain 401 (k) plan payroll information from all entities and approve funding to Fidelity each week.
• Assist dealership controllers with general administration of the 401 (k) plan.
• Download and consolidate all dealership financial statements.
• Update monthly analysis charts for dealerships and distribute as appropriate.
• Maintain internal control for all dealership and corporate entity bank accounts.
• File all required federal, state and local tax returns for corporate entities.
• Coordinate security system procedure for access to corporate office with landlord, including programming of alarm system.
• Complete all training as directed by supervisor.
• Follow policies and procedures as set forth in Personnel Policy Manual.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Two years in Corporate Accounting.
• Strong skills in Treasury.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Moderate familiarity with dealership financial statements.
• Ability to explain technical financial information in a clear, concise manner.
