About the Role
They’re on the lookout for a talented Frontend Engineer who thrives on creating stunning user experiences. In this pivotal role within their growing team, you'll have the unique opportunity to help shape, build, and deploy features that will be directly used by thousands of users. Success in this position paves the way for rapid career progression and leadership prospects, with direct reporting to the CTO.
What You'll Be Doing
- Spearhead critical front-end projects from start to finish.
- Design novel user interfaces, taking concepts from ideation through mockups to fully-fledged products.
- Craft code that's clean, testable, scalable, efficient, and comprehensively documented, all within an agile environment.
- Contribute to the product roadmap alongside the founding team, prioritizing features in line with customer needs.
- Play a part in shaping the design system used by the company, ensuring a consistent look and feel across their products.
Requirements
- Bring more than 5 years of Front End Development experience and a proven track record of shipping products.
- Proficiency in React/Typescript and Node.js, underpinned by a robust understanding of state management.
- Possess a discerning eye for thoughtful design and relish the challenge of building complex, functional web components.
- Have contributed to full-stack engineering projects, preferably having started from scratch and seen them through all phases of development.
- Capable of designing and implementing automated testing to ensure the production of rock-solid code (utilizing tools like Jest, Mocha, Lighthouse, etc.).
- Mastery of CSS, ideally through a framework like TailwindCSS.
- Exceptional communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points
- Proficiency in server-side code and the design of web applications (e.g., APIs, microservices, etc.).
- Prior experience in developing Chrome extensions.
- An existing background or keen interest in AI and enterprise SaaS.
