Job Description

SALT Dental Collective provides support services to Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic practices in the Pacific Northwest. Our company is growing, and we are seeking a full-time RCM Implementation Specialist to join our revenue cycle management team. The ideal candidate for this position would have at least 3 years of experience in orthodontic/dental billing, and have knowledge with handling merchant accounts. This role includes project management duties to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within scope. This position will report directly to the RCM Integrations Manager.

Requirements

The Implementation Specialist performs a variety of tasks and duties including, but not limited to:

  • Navigate multiple practice management software including but not limited to: Dentrix, Ascend, Dolphin, Cloud 9, and Denticon.
  • Strong understanding of dental billing, coding, and insurance procedures.
  • Coordinate projects with RCM Integrations Manager to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Assist with implementing new RCM pilots and workflows.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of RCM implementation processes and changes, particularly related to project milestones and outcomes.
  • Projects and tasks must be completed with accuracy.
  • Maintain a dedicated and quiet workspace (office) from home with no interruptions or distractions to complete your tasks during the work day.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Present oneself in a professional manner.
  • Works well under pressure and strict deadlines.
  • Able to understand CDT codes and EOBs for dental/ortho insurance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of previous dental insurance billing experience is a MUST.
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative. Work independently with little supervision.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Well-organized, detail oriented, diligent work ethic, and proficient computer skills.
  • Quick learner, personable, self-started, friendly and a team player.
  • Must be available for a straight 8 hour work day, with a one hour lunch break.
