C amp; B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere ag, material handling and power sports locations, has an opening for a full-time Rental Coordinator at its location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Rental coordinator will have the responsibility for implementing key initiatives pertaining to coordinating rental procedures for that location. This individual will work closely with the rental department.
Essential Duties:
- Assist in answering phone calls from customers and personnel
- Complete rental processes for this branch including quoting, coordinating deliveries/pickups, customer billing and track rental inventory
- Prepare and manage rental agreements with customers
- Assist in collection calls on past-due rental invoices as needed
- Keep communication between departments on completed tasks and status updates on equipment
Requirements
- Associate degree in Business/Marketing or related field preferred
- Material Handling Industry background preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective computer skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
